There’s an old joke about the little boy that told his father that when he grew up he wanted to be a musician. The father replied that he could either grow up, or he could become a musician, but he couldn’t do both. In my case, here I am more or less grown up, but still playing music and enjoying every minute of it. After many years of playing in rock bands, the set list has changed, as have some of the reasons for playing the songs, but I still get excited every time I pick up the guitar and face a crowd. I believe my enthusiasm comes through in my performance and I think that you will enjoy what I have to share.

Since 2000 Mike has been playing the music he really always wanted to – originals, contemporary folk, traditional Americana, and an eclectic mix of rock, jazz and bluegrass.
